SCHOLARSHIP CELL OF BKNMU

 

Establishment

A scholarship is a kind of financial support given to students so they can continue their studies. Scholarships are given out according to a number of criteria, most of which represent the goals and values of the award's founder or donor. The Scholarship Cell was established with the aim of helping students with their further education. The Cell aims high to give sufficient amount of help needed to the students through any foundation, State and Central Government Scheme which provides various kinds of scholarships to students.

 

Vision

• "Our vision is to break the cycle of poverty in the Bhakta Kavi Narsinh Mehta University area by investing in the education of economically challenged youth."

 

Mission

• To establish a favorable environment that assists students to overcome challenges of financial stringency in completing their academic goals.

 

Objectives

• To grant admission and tuition fees throughout the degree and certification courses.
• To create awareness among the students to avail the benefits of various scholarship schemes.
• Taking steps to make education affordable and accessible to the meritorious and economically disadvantaged students.
• To disseminate information to students regarding any new scholarship schemes/programmes relevant to meet their financial requirement to pursue higher education in Bhakta Kavi Narsinh Mehta University.
• To facilitate the process of applying various scholarship schemes.
• To empower youth through education, enabling them to overcome socioeconomic barriers and achieve their full potential.

 

Roles and Responsibilities

• Circulating and Putting on website information regarding application process for various sponsored scholarship schemes of State Government, UGC, AIC
• Information to the students on last dates for application and procedure for application.
• Providing information about various types of different scholarships available to students.
• Maintenance of records of scholarships applied by students in different categories.
• Regular reporting and coordinate with regulatory authorities, other bodies and Bhakta Kavi Narsinh Mehta University for forwarding the scholarship applications of the students.
